Our registrar Dr Amireh Fakhouri has spoken out against an injustice that we are all only too familiar with as healthcare professionals. I too remember working as a junior doctor in hospital and being expected to stay late (on top of a 70-hour working week) for no pay. Healthcare workers be they nurses, doctors or allied health do their best to look after us. It is time we looked after them. Bravo Amireh!
