Hepatology (Liver clinic - investigation of abnormal liver function tests, treatment of cirrhosis, hepatitis B and C, autoimmune liver disease, liver disease due to alcohol and some general gastroenterology consults)

Eligibility:

This service is open only to refugees and asylum seekers who also see a GP at Utopia. To Access this service, please make an appointment with a Utopia GP who will assess your eligibility and refer you on to Dr Valaydon. Medicare card is not required for this service.

This service is provided by Dr Zina Valaydon (consultant hepatologist) who is affiliated with Western Health and with St Vincent's Private.

Dr Valaydon works at Utopia once a month is providing a telehealth service in conjunction with the Utopia GPs.
